Tartan Sash

This tartan sash is beautifully made. I didn't order it in time for it to arrive for a recent dinner honoring my Scottish Clan, but I can't wait to show it off next time! The customer service was amazing, too!

Pros: Fabric is true wool and not acrylic. There is double the fabric I expected - instead of single-ply, the fabric was folded and sewn so it is double thick prior to the normal fold to wear it as a sash. Cons: Finishing left some work for me to do unfortunately. A long seam was sewn down the length of the open edge. That's fine, but now I still need to turn all of the sashes inside-out so that the selvedge is hidden on the inside. Consequently, I will also now need to press the sashes. Not the end of the world, but for the price I expected not to have to finish things myself. I don't really have time for that.
