First impressions...
Was it a tough decision to spend my money on this product? Yes indeed. But I can confidently say, the design, details and quality of the Toneshield v2r is exceptional. I've only yet had a few chances to use it in a live performance and it works just as advertised. I love the height and angle adjustments. To me, this trumps having a generic flat piece of plexi glass or road case sitting in front of a 112 cab. The achieved sonic result, may take a bit of adjustment time for guitar players, but once you get comfortable with it...the benefits are tremendous. Bonus tip...if you reverse the glass, you get an opposite but intentional result. Instead of the sound being evenly dispersed on a stage area... instead the sound can be funnelled into a narrow channel. I can see using this reverse setup on a situation where you are on a tiny stage and want to isolate your sound from the players next to you.

Good design, compact and effective
I like this thing, using it on a 1x12" Bluguitar Fatcab and it makes a huge difference in spreading the sound. Much easier to dial in a volume that's pleasant for everyone on stage, and no "death beam" for the first rows anymore.
The tilting mechanism works great and seems sturdy, I don't think the screws will wear out anytime soon. The base material is very roadworthy. I like the option to raise it higher for cabs with higher positioned speakers.
Very minor things: the folded plexiglass part doesn't unfold fully for a while and the groove in the base doesn't grip it so tight that it sits snug enough to keep it in the fully unfolded state- it pulls itself towards the middle. But I guess the plastic hinges will become more loose over time. I also think the laser engraved "ToneShield" should be on the other side, so the audience can read it.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Main reasons to buy this over the DeeFlex (and I'm in Europe, price after shipping/customs is roughly the same): foldable, looks better, adjustable angles and height. Just a better product I think!

Great for Small Venues
I play small clubs with small stages with my amp pointing at my ankles. The Tone Shield enables me to hear myself, my bandmates to hear me and evens out the spread of my amp for the entire audience, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I had tried some DIY approaches with Foamcore or plywood, but they simply did not have the same reflective properties. If I ever lost mine, I would immediately order another.
