I found these after having bought several of the Andy Gillion picks. Love that dude's playing. I wasn't familiar with Vitriol or Kyle at all, but I like the Loomis pick as a practice pick...the hard sharp tipped picks require me to maintain a level of relaxation that I fall out of if left to my own devices. I managed to play one Loomis pick for about 6 months...beveled, but still pretty sharp. This little Black Dagger is quite similar but a step above...it's a weapon in the wrong (or right) hands. Having battered it against Creeping Death for about an hour a day for a week...I still don't have it quite to tempo...it's just shrugged off wear like water off a duck's back. I'll be back for more...a Scorpio, this is by all accounts my perfect pick.
