Bulb arrived broken - ESP not accepting for return

I have a Luminor LB5-101B system that calls for an RL-820 UV bulb per the unit labeling. I purchased this exact bulb from ESP Water. The bulb arrived at my home from ESP with one filament broken (open circuit using a ohmmeter). ESP claims this is the wrong bulb for my system and the return window has closed. The replacement bulb labeling on my system suggests otherwise. I wasted $111 and I still don't have a functional UV system. Frustrating. Buyer beware. Consider another UV bulb vendor for your replacement bulbs.
