Hard to install

Although I watched the installation tutorial video, I couldn't install it with my bare hands in the end. Even after soaking it in boiling water, it still wouldn't fit properly. Eventually, I had to cut it open to put it on. Despite all this, I still really love the product—I just wish it were easier to install!

Soaked them in boiling water for 10 minites and used the TFL tire levers to help adjust them after stretching them over the rim with my hands. Had them on in a few minutes. Easy peasy for a little extra protection.

Hard to install, but well worth it

After noticing multiple significant impacts to my stock GTS hub I decided I needed to get some protection before I shattered my wheel. I struggled for a while to install them until I submerged them in almost boiling water for 10 minutes and used a small tire iron I use on motorcycle tires. All said and done I’d say the piece of mind knowing my wheel isn’t going to be shattered on a trail far from home or my ride home was well worth the effort. I’m running the future motion performance treaded tire with no issues other then the bead being a little tricky to set.
