Not worth the $$$

Cool look. But, please update the retention system.Over a year owning the kevy, while not abusing it, shortly after purchase the exterior cracked in multiple points around light mount and around side slots. Retention is awful when using for extended period of time. Replacement inserts for padding does not stick wih provided hook and loop. modification needed to keep it in. Foam lining came loose just a few months after purchase. I don't treat it like a $30 hard hat. So doesn't really have a reason to fall apart from just sitting on my head. You could get an easy 5 star if the retention system was decent.

Pretty good quality love how it fits. I wish the chin strap would adjust just a little bit longer , so if you have a hood on it would buckle. It also sits just a little bit too far forward.And obstructsyour peripheral vision slightly.

Jury still out

Only had it a week. It is well made, heavier than regular helmets but the liner and suspension are quite good and the helmet is comfortable. Curious to see how ventilation is in hot/humid climates. I wish the chin strap was removable, I currently have it buckled and tucked up in the rear but it is mildly irritating. The Velcro reflective pieces aren’t necessary and have already begun to pull away in the corners. Much easier to get reflective strips that adhere right to the helmet. The light is bright and functions well. More to follow in a few weeks
