Picked up the LDO Voron 2.4 kit from West3D and loved it. The parts are high quality, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the whole build was a really fun experience. Solid kit all around and totally worth it.

Can’t go wrong

This is my seventh LDO voron kit all purchased from the great folks at West 3D plus a micron. Saving up for a salad fork and a 350 trident. Hard pressed to buy from anybody else or any other voron kit.

The LDO V2.4R2 kit is basically an extremely expensive, technically sophisticated building block set that results in a 3D printer instead of a castle or space ship. You'll spend hours carefully mounting linear rails, routing belts, crimping connectors, and organizing and re-organizing more varieties of screws than you thought could exist in one place. It's meditative. It's frustrating. It's deeply, deeply satisfying. LDO gives you quality parts--real Gates belts, proper rails, a frame that's actually square--so when something goes wrong, it's probably your fault, not theirs. The instructions are good, the Discord community is better, and by the end you'll understand printers at a level that makes you insufferable at parties, unless its a party with a bunch of other 3D printer nerds, in which case why didn't you invite me?
