Garmin Charge Power Pack

I purchased this device to use with my Garman Edge 1000 unit. A problem that I encounter when using the Garman Edge 1000 on longer rides is battery life. In using the Garman charge power pack, I have been able to substantially elongate the battery life of my device in using it as a charging source. I do like the footprint of the design with the 1030 handlebar stem (that has to be used) even though it adds a little bit of weight. If I would say there's any drawback, I'd have to say is the add'l weight that is added with incorporating the Garman charge power pack to the profile of my bike.
