MVP Polo Saddle - Series 2

Saddle made for the horse AND the rider!

I spent a lot of time trying to find a saddle that would be comfortable for both my horse and me, and the MVP Series 2 was the top of the pack. Jess and Ross were so incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions and even found someone in my area that owned one of their saddles so I could try it before I purchased it. When I finally purchased it, it got delivered within 3 days internationally. This saddle is truly designed for the horse, it has great wither clearance on the top AND side, allows for good shoulder movement, is incredibly light, and the wool flocking doesn't trap as much heat as foam. The 19" curves up a bit in the back to help alleviate pressure near the T18. The gullet plate was also easy to swap out to fit my horse. The saddle is also comfortable for the rider - the flaps are good sized, so as a taller rider my knees don't stick out past the saddle. The material is secure enough for me to feel comfortable reaching out but not so sticky that I can't get out of the saddle. I also love the fact that it has changeable billets so I can easily replace those as needed. I do wish it had a D ring for me to tether my saddle pad to, however it does have small leather straps near the stirrup bar that work as a pseudo D ring.

I’m impressed with the MVP2. Several of my horses seem to move out more freely in the shoulders with this design, and the suede flaps keep me firm on the saddle when I’m swinging the mallet. Great customer service from Jessica.

Great saddle, great service

Kudos for the Series 2! Easy to break in and the sized gullets plates allowed for the perfect fit for two of my hard to fit pony’s that didn’t fit into the standard polo saddles available. I have this narrow shouldered, but broad roached-back gelding that was difficult to keep the saddle from moving forward. I had a saddle maker try to custom make a polo saddle for this pony, he couldn’t make it work. The Ainsley Series 2 fit perfectly due to the flexibility to adjust the flocking and the billet position- no more poor behavior from this horse due to an ill fitting saddle. I was able to also solve the fit issue on my wide, low withered pony. Each horse is unique and I’m really able to fit these saddles for optimum movement for the horse. Great fit for me as well, the seat and forward flaps allow me to ride close with my horses. I now have four Ainsley saddles and will be replacing my other saddle’s with this model as well. I’ve also had a Series 1 for three years. It get’s daily use that includes 3 games a week and it’s wearing well. Great out of the country service from Ross and his team make it this seamless.
