Sound Slam

I have been using these cards with my clients and they love it. It is such a great game to warm up for the session all the while they are already learning!

Nice product and packaging. The rules are straight forward enough that my 5 year old picked them up quickly. I don't fully understand why the words aren't on the cards to help him start associating the sounds with the letters though. It seems like that would be an obvious next step. Not to mention the pictures can be ambiguous so it would make having the key unnecessary.

A beneficial resource for ALL!

As a Kindergarten teacher and mother of four, I highly recommend Sound Slam! It brilliantly caters to a wide range of skill levels, keeping all my kids (ages 5–9) engaged. I’ve even started challenging my 5-year-old twins by making the colour-coding a last-resort move, forcing them to challenge themselves rather than relying on defaults. It’s such a fantastic, versatile tool that I can’t wait to use it as a Reading Group activity in my classroom as well!
