Fit & Flare but Weak Strap Fastener

Love the flattering fit and shape of this dress, this is my 2nd one. I size one up for bust & comfort. Only gripe is that this style has a major weak point at the strap buttons, which are not fastened securely and break off. I've defaulted to safety-pinning the straps to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. . .
