Learn to Sew - Essential Skills to Start Making Clothes

The title, Learn to Sew, is perfect.

I purchased two copies of this book for my granddaughters who are both learning to sew. The book is organized in such a way that it introduces a new seamstress to sewing in a step-by-step way. I really like the way Tilly makes it fun for a new seamstress to learn to sew.

The go to guide for just about everything! Perfect for sewcials.

I have been sewing for over 10 years and still have to check things on my phone. I bought this book because I was carrying my Love at First Stitch Book with me to every social and I wanted something a bit small and conscise. Enter Tilly's Learn to Sew book, the guide to practically everything that doesnt need the internet or crash when you need it most. Tillys clear, colour photographs and instructions are perfect to help anyone whether they are new to sewing or old hands. A great book, fits nicely into my Sewing Machine Trolley case. Another great book, thank you Tilly!

Great reference book

I’ve already used it for sewing as a reference when I forgot how to insert a pocket. It directed me where I could get a free pattern too. I can see it being very useful for my sewing projects.
