We use the unscented. Not sure how the scented filters are. We use Suzanne's candles for scent. Shipping replacement is quick and easy. Always keep a replacement on hand in your frig for ease. The Cartridge is so easy to install and works great to make my home smell fresh and the air clean to breathe.

I like having all my units having cartridges ready on standby to become replacements. These units have been such a help in my home. Better sleep, less sinus issues this spring( even with the windows open some), and the light changes for intruder alerts until they'reby neutralized.
