I already have a almost 10yr old backpack made by Arkel that sees daily use and still looks new, so I new I would be getting a quality product. Quality of materials, craftsmanship and details are well beyond anything out there, every stitch is perfect. Thank you folks at Arkel!

love Arkel brand, but this pannier is too heavy and doesn't hold enough

After using the same pannier (from Arkel) for 30 years, I decided to gift myself a new one. And, because I couldn't find a retailer in Vancouver, I ordered this online. While it is beautiful, it is much heavier than my old pannier, and much harder to pack. my old pannier completely opened up to allow me to pack it. This one, once I put my lap top in - it is difficult to fit much else inside. and, it is heavy, and challenging if I need to carry it any distance.
