Haven Safari

Best sleep you can get when you’re kayak camping, never have to worry about level ground when you’re looking for a camping spot on the rivers edge. Haven gives me better sleep than my Tempur-pedic mattress..

10/10. From the product itself, to the customer service, this is a company I will recommend every time! I first purchased my Haven Safari in April 2023. I used it a handful of times, each time having a great nights sleep. After breaking it out for this camping season, my sleep pad was no longer holding air. Upon further inspection, I found that it was leaking at several seams. In a rush to have a pad in time for the coming weekends camping trip, I ordered a new pad on a Sunday evening, and paid for express shipping (2-3 days). On Monday morning I sent an email explaining my situation, thinking my particular pad may have a manufacturers defect. Within an hour, I had a response. Not only did they offer to refund what I paid for the new pad, they offered to upgrade the sleeping pad to the True Level for $35. Of course I took them up on this. A few hours later, the refund for the difference had hit my account. Tuesday morning, UPS was ringing my doorbell with my new goodies (I also purchased the pad cover. Highly recommend!). Now for the product itself…. As a woman who is 6’ tall, I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t have enough leg room, and that I would feel claustrophobic when I had the rain fly down. After the first night in my Haven Safari, I was sold! I was comfortable and cozy, and had enough room for all of my essentials at the foot of my Haven. There was plenty of space between my head and the bug net, and the ridge light was perfect for reading late into the night. I had a wonderful nights sleep on the original sleep pad, but the True Level sleep pad was a game changer! One of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long while. I have used my Haven Safari in a 3 day rain storm, and it kept everything nice and dry, and kept me warm through the night. It’s lightweight, and easy to set up and take down. This upgrade to traditional hammock (or tent) camping is definitely worth it, and you’ll be wishing you’d have gotten your Haven sooner!

This hammock is awesome. Easy to put up, comfortable, stable, and relaxing. Held up great in a rain storm- I stayed dry inside. My only concern is the air mattress that came with the tent. We had small leaks in the mattress near the seam so it wouldn’t hold air. The customer service is absolutely wonderful at this company. Fast responses and we got a replacement shipped to us right away. Everyone should enjoy a HAVEN TENT!
