Premium Upgrade

These are a premium upgrade to the stock Subaru Forester (KYB) struts. Not many quality options for strut replacement on this vehicle model out there (my opinion). At around 61,000 miles, my 2018 Forester had a RF lower control arm go bad which caused bad wheel vibration at about 65MPH. According to the mechanic, Subaru claims normal wear and tear. I ended up having both lower control arms replaced (stock replacement) and the front strut packs upgraded to Rallitek. This resolved the issue and made the car ride better than new (even with 50% worn tires). I will replace the rear strut packs at some point as well. It ain't cheap, but it's worth it and I am very happy with this upgrade.

Failed after 28k miles

minimal trails, bad road, and MN winter + salt is what probably did the springs/struts in. Otherwise better than OEM for the minimal amount of trails and loadout that is typically carried, good enough for a 2nd set, hopefully more than 28k this time. addendum: I changed rating from 3 to 5 stars as Rallitek stands by their product guarantee for the springs, they credited the cost back of replacements and got them to me faster than anticipated. The new springs are now pressed into service for a late March winter storm and performing superbly on and off road.

Rides like a dream , have more response over bumpy roads . the extra inch in height with overload springs working great with full overland camp and gear springbar skyline hot tent dometic refrigerator battle born lithium battery’s and Zamp solar ,all for the long camp outs.
