Demon United Zero PLUS RF D3O® Unisex Ski/Snowboard Padded Top

I tore my rotator cuff in a ski fall in February. I purchased this top to protect my shoulder while I continued my ski season prior to surgery. The top is well made and provides ample protection. I haven’t fallen since I began using this top, so I can’t vouch for its real life protection, but the top has protection in all the right places. The top is relatively light weight and fits me perfectly. I wear the large, and I’m 5’11”, 170 pounds with a 32” waist. The top acts as another base layer, so I removed one base layer and replaced it with this top. My shirt, fleece and ski coat all fit over this top. I highly recommend this top for any skier, especially those over 60 who are more prone to injury after falls.

It works as it should and protects you against the ice and hard snow. I have fallen plenty and feel more confident that I will not be seriously injured. The only issue I have is that new to snowboarding and falling less the gear is hot and when just cruising I would like just the bottoms and elbow pads. Material is well made and very comfortable.
