Just purchased an Old Town pedal kayak and saw they use 1/8" x 1" stainless steel prop pins which occasionally needs to be replaced. OT sells them 5 each for $8. From KSMetals, I bought 2 each of the 1/8" x 1' stainless steel rod for $6.99 each. Cut them up and used the grinder on the ends. Now i have 22 pieces for $14 compared to OT's 20 pieces for $32.
