I haven't tested this in the waters, but the material is silky and soft. It's similar to a swimsuit texture but much softer. If worn around the wrist, it has a cooling sensation. I picked out teal and the color is accurate with the photo. This is a cool scrunchie as I've never seen anyone sell these kinds (perfect for sports/ water activities).
