I'm riding the Backfire Hammer for a couple years now. Its my third Board. My first was DIY chain driven all terrain board... so there is some experience and history in my riding. I noticed that some parts( Battery) for the Hammer have discontinued on the Backfire website. I contacted the tech support and they located another new Battery for me. Im very happy with the performance of the Hammer, just fits my riding style , and I have a lot of fun with it. I get around 17 - 25 km range out of one charge, depending on train and climbs. And I'm very happy with the tech support response and solution findings - even with an older Board like the Hammer. Thanks folks very appreciated.

Many years ago I built a chain driven mountain board ( nothing was really out there yet) , could do 20k one charge, than toasted the battery. Now , many years later without a board I’ve got the Hammer used . Because a friend of mine was riding backfire boards for years without any complaints. That’s why I jumped on the hammer . I had trouble with the used battery and ordered a new one , and new tires. Backfire’s advertising the range of the hammer with up to 30-35 km. I’m 160 lbs , on flat , no wind, paved trail - I got 19km with two low battery warning vibration and one bar left . I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied. I thought with the brand new battery I get 25 on flat pavement for sure . What’s your thought on that ? Inflation of the tires to 30psi is pretty tricky ( I’ve tried several high quality pumps ) Other than that - I loved the ride , carving is super cool, very quiet and I love the flexibility of the deck - it’s like one hour of fun snowboarding . I would love to hear from you about the battery range . Thank you - happy new year , Stefan
