Pure Silk Classic Bonnet with Ribbons

Did what I needed

This is a small bonnet without much space in it so won't suit someone with a lot of hair. However I bought it to wear under helmets such as ski or climbing helmets, so the fact that it looks almost normal without looking like a huge chef's hat is a positive advantage. Ties well on and doesn't slip off. Saves my curly hair from getting messed up by the helmet. Leaves it a bit frizzier than other more expensive silk bonnets do, but the expensive ones are always huge and ridiculous looking and if worn overnight slip down over my face because they're too large for me.

Did what I wanted

If you have a lot of hair or a big affro, this hat won't do the job for you. There isn't much space in it. However I have only a small amount of curly hair and most bonnets are too big for me and spend most of the time slipped down over my face as I sleep. The colour is nice. The material is okay. It seemed to leave my hair more frizzy and flattened than the more expensive brands. But still better than not covering my hair.

Beautiful silk bonnet

I have tried silk bonnets from other companies and they have always come off or felt too hot. This one stays on and isn't too heavy or hot. The red colour is particularly lovely and my husband says I look beautiful in it which is certainly a bonus. I have washed it on the delicates setting with a silk wash a couple of times and it looks like new. I have loved everything I've bought from SilkSilky to date. Amazing quality - the nightdresses are a dream and I no longer buy cotton pyjamas or nighties. Superb for perimenopause.
