Late delivery, still waiting, terrible customer service

I was given a delivery date that was before my daughter's birthday. When the delivery day came, nothing arrived. The tracking information never updated, and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone for an explanation. About a week later, I finally received an update saying my order had shipped, only to find out that my iron had shipped but there was no sign of the driver. After multiple attempts to get answers, I eventually received an email explaining that they were backed up and that the driver wouldn't be delivered until August—about two months after the original delivery date. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with this entire experience. The lack of communication and significant delay have been very frustrating. I'm hoping the driver is worth the wait.

Incorrect Shipping Estimates and Poor Communication

When I purchased this item, the website stated that preorder shipping would begin on June 5. After that date passed with no update, I contacted customer support and was told the website was incorrect and that fulfillment would instead occur in late June. In late June, I received only the 7-iron. There was no communication that my order had been split, and my order was marked as delivered despite the driver not being included. I had to contact support again to find out what happened, only to be told the driver was backordered until August. This is a starter set for my 3-year-old daughter, and I specifically ordered both clubs so we could spend the summer introducing her to golf together. By the time the driver arrives, we’ll have lost most of the season. Production delays happen, but the lack of proactive communication was the most disappointing part. Every update came only because I reached out to ask. As I’m writing this review, the driver still hasn’t arrived.

I noticed my 4 year old building bad habits with her other set. They were just a bit heavy for her. These are light and the shafts are a perfect flex for a kid. She really loves her new "big dawg." And the 7 iron is her "electric shot" club. Thanks Lag Shot for making a product that helps her get more joy out of the game which in turn gives me more joy. God Bless.
