Hello, these are so so comfortable! I am female who has always wanted to try boxers because people said they were so comfortable. I chose these because I have quite thick legs and shorts tend to ride up. The ones I got not only don't ride up but also prevent chafing. The texture and fabric is not overwhelming. There is some extra fabric in the crotch area along with the hole meant for easy access but that is expected and isn't uncomfortable or even noticeable.
