Inconsistent sizing

I’ve bought these a couple years ago and they were the most comfortable underwear I own. They seemed to have changed something about the materials recently though. These are overall way too tight around the thighs and waist. I noticed that every one that was way too tight said made in Kenya. There was one pack I got that said made in China that felt more roomy and similar to the old makes. Inconsistent, and I have no way of knowing if I’ll get the tight fitting or just right fitting so hard for me to want to buy again.
