Still early days for evaluating these wireless headsets. We're getting about 50m of usable range from them, which will be ample on board. It should also be useful for some operations with one person off the boat, for example in the tender guiding the boat through shoal conditions. We're noticing a peculiar audio artifact that sounds like intermittent sharp clicks or pops, most often just as speech stops. It doesn't make the headsets unusable, but it could become a source of frustration. Investigation is ongoing. The units seem well made. The supplied case is impressively well made. I have not seen any means of replacing the rechargeable batteries. This is a significant concern, as these are likely to be the first point of failure. The neck loop on the headsets is not adjustable, making for an insecure fit. The blue LEDs used to indicate operation are not visible in sunlight. Delivery was prompt.

My research indicated this to be a best-in-class product. Unfortunately when I tried to order it there was no option to ship it to Canada. I contacted the company and they informed me that they had just opened a Canadian shipping point. I placed the order and received the item very promptly. We tested the item a found the design and product quality to be first rate. Flawless operation. Will be helpful for anchoring and docking.
