Very cool barefoot shoes

My grandson loves these shoes look really cool. Very well made and tough enough to with stand a 10 year old running around.

Disappointed

These shoes really rub into my Achilles tendon, it happened with the size 11 and I thought it was because they were too small, so I returned and moved to the 12 (no half sizes?) Now they are too big and still rub into my Achilles tendon, very painful to wear. I really wanted to like these shoes. I missed my return window (facepalm) so they sit in their box unused. PS. Returning the first pair was amazing, I was very impressed with their return system, which is such a critical thing for a company selling shoes online, they nail it. They gave me a shipping label and shipped my new pair on the same day

Review/Suggestions

I've bought 3 pairs... It's hard to go back to normal toe boxes now. Some suggestions for future skate shoe models: - I feel like you all could make a less pointy turn right by the big toe by making it more gradual... In my opinion that would look way better and less "toddler-ish". - A more bulky upper would be cool. All your options are very slim. Think Osirus D3 (maybe not this bulky) or SB Dunks. It's just another popular skate shoe style option. I'm sure some of your customer would dig it (myself included). - Need some leather options for better durability. - Definitely need to add some ventilation in all your shoes. These have to be some of the hottest, sweatiest shoes I've ever owned. It doesn't seem like there are any areas to let some air flow in. These haven't been helping with my athlete's foot. Again just some suggestions. Otherwise these are my new go to shoes, but would love to see some of these changes happen.
