Straight Razor Stand, Metallic - Nickel Plated

The price was good. And upon receipt, I was excited to put them to use. But when I placed a straight razor in it, the straight razor flipped to one side, almost falling off the stand. It happened to ALL my straight razors. (Wade&Butcher, WH Morley, Koraat, Shumate, JR Torrey, Shapleigh, etc...). Why? Because the small “cup” at the end of the stand, where the straight razors tail/tang fit into, was a solid cup. The top part of the cup had not been removed LIKE THEY DO FOR EVERY OTHER STRAIGHT RAZOR CUP. Long story short...the razors will ONLY fit in this cup if they are fully closed. And no one stores a straight razor in the closed position. You ALWAYS store a straight razor in the open position to air dry, and for display purposes. Totally bummed-out. But It’ll work great if you store your straight razor fully closed. I purchased two, and both are being returned. (Pictures of my good stands vs the poor design are attached. Poor design is circled).

A friend had been looking for straight stand like this for years. I stumbled upon it here at Fendrihan, and decided to get it for him. Was he ever surprised.

Great stand

Does what it’s supposed to and holds my straight razor. It’s not giant, so minimizes sink counter space.
