Guerlain Shalimar L'Essence

I picked this scent knowing that it was not my profile. It's like going to a museum exhibit that you wouldn't normally pick. I'm looking for "culture." A different experience! That being said, this is very powdery to my nose. Soft powdery and floral. It doesn't have that vintage powder bomb scent to it. As it settles, I think I smell a bit of an incense type vanilla floating alongside the powdery floral. I think this would be a good scent for when you want to feel clean, but confident - like you are going to the board of directors to DOMINATE. It's clean, quiet confidence to me. It is not for me, but I appreciate it!

I loooove this fragrance!! I'm definitely going to buy a full bottle in the near future
