Good but not worth the price

It’s a good cream there’s no doubt about that. The scent is pleasant but it does seem a bit like candy to me. Lather was excellent and a little goes a long way. Bottom line is that this cream creates a great shave but there are a number of other lime scented creams and soaps that generate an equally good larger for half the price. One in particular by a company named after a great battle between the Scots and English over a bridge in medieval Britain ( hint hint). I recommend to those out there who are just dying to try it to go ahead and make the purchase because you will certainly enjoy this cream. At the end of the day I believe this is more that your buying the name of the product and not a quality that is superior to every other cream out there. One last note, the aftershave balm that matches this cream is superb 🙂.

This product is the best, bar none! I had settled on Crabtree & Evelyn's West Indian Lime (when available!) but I knew there had to be something else . . . along comes Castle Forbes! Once you get past the price (believe me, it's worth it!) you'll indulge yourself in a truly exceptional experience. I use very little product (a few swirls of a well-soaked, badger brush) and find an incredible amount of foam, enough to shave with three passes (lather, shave down, rinse, lather, shave up, rinse, lather, shave horizontal) - I still have product left in the brush for a fourth pass! I truly love the smell of lime so this product is pure nirvana! I also find that my brush doesn't require cleaning as often . . . Make sure to also purchase the Castle Forbes Lime Aftershave Balm - your face will thank you for it!!!
