Now don't hear me wrong. Listen carefully. This is a soft and comfortable knit hat of excellent quality, and I love it. It's beautiful. The only reason I don't give it that fifth star is that I found that in the thick of things (which is to say an unexpected snow shower) the soft texture gave me too *much* warmth, but the hat itself was perhaps overwhelmed by the moisture and became too heavy, which is to say that it's very absorbent and I was overwhelmed by the warm wet. So: wear this awesome hat when it is cold and crisply dry and you want lots of dry warmth. I intend to keep this hat for the rest of my life.
