The journal is beautiful, and well made, with lots of great questions and plenty of room to write. However, if you want to give it to someone who is childless or has a step child then this one isn't for you. It is only for people who have given birth. For example I wanted to give this to my aunt, but I couldn't. Other than that, the journal is a beautiful gift.
