ZenCall

A promising product, maybe a tad too early for prime time

To be clear, I am a fan and am keeping my lifetime subscription. ZenCall seems to be a promising product, and we think that it might have a very bright future to compete with some of these big players that are out there like Retell and so many others. The problem is the training of the bot. Primarily, I want to upload markdown files and have it have scenarios that it can walk through, but it's a single file and doesn't appear to always follow its instructions. There is literally almost zero by way of support documentation and training. Just a few articles with very basic information. There should be more of an onboarding agent or something to help users figure it out. I had to work with Claude in order to get this set up well enough. Also, there's no preview of the voices in the dashboard, which made it more difficult to choose the agent voice that I was going with. The agents themselves all stutter and fall over themselves, which I suspect will get better with time. Overall, it's a good deal right now, particularly if this company makes it and this doesn't just die on the vine.
