I recently took my Orbea Rise into the team at e-bikeshop.co.uk after experiencing some frustrating issues with the suspension linkage and bearings. The service I received from the ‘two Bens’ (Operations Manager and Mechanic) was nothing short of superb. Initially, I was disappointed with mechanical failures, but the team turned the experience around completely. They successfully managed a warranty claim with Orbea for a new suspension linkage, replaced all the rear suspension bearings, and fitted a new SLX cassette. They also went above and beyond by replacing a squealing rear brake disc/pads and a stiff dropper post cable, returning the bike in what feels like ‘box-fresh’ condition. What really stood out was the tone they spent to understand and discuss the issues, and then the handover; the mechanic spent 30 minutes walking me through the repairs and sharing invaluable maintenance tips for the Surrey conditions. It was also exceptional value for money. I’ve gone from being a frustrated owner to a customer for life. If you have an e-bike, this is the place to go. Professional, transparent, and highly recommended.
