One Hour Miracle Paint - Bauhaus Buff

We had our bathroom remodeled and left the painting to ourselves! Amy Howards One hour Miracle paint made it so easy! Clean slate first and then a coat of Miracle Paint and VOILA! Done! The results are spectacular! I have 3/4 of a can left so I plan to do the kitchen cabinets next. Stay tuned this is fun and so easy! Beautiful finish.

The Miracle Paint was very easy to use, and I started with the recommendation to use clean slate and do a light sanding. I also needed to add cove moulding to the door frames so I could cleanly attach the chicken wire, which I spray painted gold leaf. The Nottoway Blue was a perfect classic blue reminiscent of a vintage southern porch ceiling. The blue covered nicely in 2 coats and has a nice satin smooth sheen. Bahaus White was a great classic white with a subtle hint of peachy/warm undertones. The white did not cover the stained interior as well. I could have used 3-4 coats for full coverage or primed first, but I made the quart work and got 2 heavy coats of coverage before running out. I like the more rustic appearance of the white interior as it worked for this piece not to have 100% coverage. I struggled with finding the right color as I did not want to wait or invest in samples to ship to home, and the online color samples did not seem to be a good representation of actual colors. I also found that there were very few before-and-after color sample photos shared by users in the palette I was interested in, so I am sharing mine in hopes this will help another user. Also Nottaway Blue is a perfect pairing with satin brass/gold leaf accents. I got the piece for free and waited about 7 years to find a place in our home to do this makeover, and the AH Miracle Paint was a perfect match for this project.
