Electronic ESD Flush Cutting Diagonal Cutters

Great tool, dangerous packaging.

Tool is great, but absolutely hate the plastic packing. I also bought Wiha locking pliers at the same time, and it was so time-consuming (and dangerous) to try to cut away the plastic shells, that I will only purchase Wiha in the future if it is noted when purchasing that they are NOT packed in the clear plastic shells. I do understand that some other mfgs use the same plastic shell-type (I I avoid those as well).

Get these ones

Love the spring action and feel of these cutters. After a few years of heavy use, the handle is slipping off on one side . Eventually, I'll buy another pair if I can't fix them. I bought these specifically because the spring wont change when I put them in the tool holder (Unlike every other cutter I've seen on the market)

Superior Tools

The quality and finish of Wiha tools is second to none. The impact bits are perfectly formed and last forever. The ESD cutters are terrific for cutting all kinds of wire, from CAT 6 cable to tiny 30 gauge jumpers. They cut with about half the pressure that other cutters require. They are worth every penny and then some.
