I purchased and installed a pair of VIGOR OEM 19353945 front shocks for a 2007 Escalade 5 weeks ago. I shopped the web, eBay, and RockAuto, assessing and ruling out the many lower price options available for this model. When you purchase car parts, more often than not, quality costs, and I was willing to pay for quality. My goal was to preserve the magnetic ride control and return the Escalade to its original smooth, quiet ride. (yes, it has good/quiet road tires) After a month of use, I have to report: THESE SHOCKS MISSED THE MARK ON BOTH. The Caddi now has a firm, brittle ride reminiscent of what I would have on my old autocross cars. AND - the shock tubes produce loud, resonating noise with each road crack or imperfection. We live on a gravel road; now it's a brutal, noisy trip to pavement. Not a 1-star review because the build geometry of the housing and mounts is accurate; as previous reviewers have noted, these shocks fit perfectly. The install went without issue.
