The mantel came in pieces but was not difficult for my adult son to assemble. I'm very happy with the finished product, especially with the realistic look of the flame. Plus there's no smoke or ashes to clean up!

Love it! I do wish it was a bit taller for our space, but I am going to add a small platform to boost it up a bit. Great quality and the fire actually looks pretty real. Quick shipping and easy to put together.
