Exactly what I needed for taping frets back in to guitars that have been loosened up for whatever reason. Excellent control and the grip is good on the tool. Much better than the Asian made mallets that are sold out and about everywhere. A decently made small mallet, better than what a popular guitar tool website sells. I've been a guitar maker and repairman for over 40 years. I use Wiha tools daily!

Perfect size

Purchased this for my wife to use when she’s working with me - the larger dead blow hurts her wrist to use. Still no visible wear even after using it myself for a while - Plus - she wants to help now, since everyone loves nice tools.
