Sundanzer 5.6 Cu. Ft. Solar DC Chest Freezer (DCF160)

This freezer is working out great! Ordering from Ben’s is also great, they have a lot of experience shipping freight to rural locations. In my case, I was able to drive 40 minutes and pick up the freezer at the shipping hub. This worked out much easier for me than trying to coordinate a freight delivery to a location that is a quarter mile away from our walk-in cabin. I’ll be ordering from Ben’s again for sure.

Once we found the break in the main power cable from the PV plates and regulator to the battery bank, we repaired it and the voltage to the freezer jumped from 9 to 13+ volts. It works great, even better that the last one we'd purchased 12 years ago. Much more efficient.
