I was looking for a small jewelry box for my 3-year old who has acquired a couple of necklaces and a bracelet. I wanted something that would both, appeal to a 3-year old, and also last the test of time through her teen years even (maybe). This fit the bill -- it's a perfect size for 10-12 pieces of jewelry, has a fun pop of color on the inside, but has a great vintage yet high-quality vibe that I am so pleased with. For those like me who couldn't really tell if the "Stars" option was pale blue or light gray, it is in fact a very muted blue.
