My suggestion is: take a size smaller then the suggested size based on your waist measurement. These pants are extremely comfortable, surprisingly cool in very hot weather. The four way stretch makes movement easy. The canvas cotton feels very sturdy and durable. I especially appreciate the easy to reach, deep side pockets, the boot cuffs and the curve stitched knee inserts. I bought two and will definitely buy more in the future. I wish I had found these decades ago.
