Hamster Dynamics High Performance Air Chamber

After reading reviews I decided to add the Hamster Chamber to my YS80FZ. With a 13 x 8 prop I was getting 9,800 rpm. After adding the Hamster my rpm increased to 10,200 rpm. Well worth the price. Thank you CK Aero !

Performance was as advertised. Added roughly 500 rpm on an APC 13x8 prop on 30% heli fuel. Handling was normal. The air box did not visibly vibrate at any speed. Difficult to install.

The fuel needle becomes more sensitive after installation. You can’t go lean without some violent detonation. I did see some increase in RPM but you have to stay on the rich side, otherwise heat will build up and engine begins to sag, detonation becomes critical. My other observation was that the chamber continues to move around (wiggle) after installation because there is no secure way to secure it in one solid position. This makes me question if the o-rings really seal on both ends and if it has any negative effect on performance.
