Not Your Typical Pair of Jeans!
I've owned these pair of jeans for about 7 months at this point. This review has been a long time coming! When Patrick mentioned he was going to branch out into the jean apparel world, I told him to sign me up!
It's the little details throughout these jeans that make me love having them. Below are some things I wanted to point out.
- I am a huge fan of these inside pockets, they're so unique! They have these little characters on them that give off greek-setting vibes. Very vibrant, colorful, and real sturdy.
- The front of the jeans have a button up mechanism instead of the traditional zipper. Still getting used to these!
- The jeans are also on the longer side (I'm 5'6") and so I have to roll up the bottom cuffs. The cuffs have these stitching on the sides that make it convenient to roll them up symmetrically and they keep at their place too due to the thickness of the jean material.
- They are on the slim side of the jean spectrum, so my body-building friends, if you have god-like quads, these may be hard to fit into. Luckily for me, during the time I've owned these jeans I can still slip into them!
- Not pictured, but these black jeans have BlackByrd’s leather stitched on the back right side of the jeans where you slip your belt through them. They’re the same kind of leather he uses for his wallets. Pretty cool implementation and a way to showcase Patrick’s designing and leather products.
What really sold me on picking up these jeans though, is the lifetime warranty on them. If they are ever damaged in some way or form, I can send them in and get them fixed up. Hoping the time never comes, but if I need it, I know it's there.
These jeans are a bit on the pricier side, I know, compared to the traditional jeans found in your mall stores, but the build-quality, and the little details on them are pretty impressive. When you buy from a locally-owned small business, you're helping support the little guy who is living out their dream of showcasing their love for a certain idea, dream, or product to the world. And I’ll always do what I can to support those guys. Plus, with the lifetime warranty, I get the impression that I will have this pair of jeans for years to come, so it is a worthy investment for myself to own. Maybe I’ll pass them onto my kid if they last that long, haha.
