Miffy + Retrospekt Flip Clock

I appreciate Cal from customer service helping me with my issue and being so prompt at getting me a replacement clock, after resetting did not resolve the issue. Really appreciate it!

I love the clock and the design. 1 star off only because the mechanism is a bit louder than I'd like. The flip noise of the clock flaps is gentle (and I love when the hour turns over and it gives me that auditory cue of time passing), but the gear inside that turns them clicks and clacks a bit more than I'd like in the space between minutes. I added a little bit of silicone based lubricant to the plastic gear and that has dampened the creak somewhat, but do expect to hear some clicks in-between minutes on this one.

This was an Easter gift for my wife. It made her very happy, and now has pride of place on top of the pile of books on her nightstand!
