Burkett drawstring bag

I made this backpack for my granddaughter’s birthday. I love how it turned out. I know she’ll love it.

Very cute bag! I mde one with hexatex and cork with hex lining. I used actual paracord for the straps (a thicker variety) instead of bias tape. The instructions should say to taper the seam allowance on the lining from 3/8 to 1/2 in, otherwise the lining and exterior will not sew together correctly. Luckily i realized this before I sewed the lining panels together. Thanks Sallie!
