True Love's Cake Travel Spray

this scent smells lovely, like sweet, but not too sweet pistachios. it is very gourmand and great for a date night. I only wish it lasted longer. I keep it in my purse for reapplying.

Bought on a whim to see what the hype over this brand was about, but was a little worried this would be way too sweet smelling. It ended up being really nice though, especially the notes of almond! Definitely a classic gourmand, but not so much as to make you nauseous.

This scent is very interesting because it changes significantly from the time you spray it to when it’s settled into the skin. At first, I wasn’t too fond of how overpowering the pistachio note is when it’s first sprayed. But after it had sat on my skin for a bit, the sweetness of the almond cake and rose water came through. My only concern is longevity and potency. The aroma was fairly light after a couple hours at work. If it was slightly stronger and more long-lasting, this would be my perfect scent!
