Absolutely amazing light modifier. Packs down small, for easy transport. Especially given its size. Great for full length portraits. Picked up the optional grid for it as well, just for that extra control. Set up is great, just like the other Rapid Snap lines. I personally find this one easier to set up than the 47" Octa. I'll definately be looking at the gel holders for both these modifiers.

12x71" Rapid Snap Stripbox easier than I thought to set up!

Even with its Rapid Snap design, I was expecting it would take some force to set it up, simply because of how large the softbox is. Having watched the Strobepro video on it (highly recommended before you set it up the first time!), I knew to start with the half circle mechanism facing me with the black knob facing up. I gave it a bit of a shake to reorientate the rods from their shipping position into their normal spread out position. I squeezed the two halves together and was really surprised at how easy it was (when you start out with it in the correct position). First time turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! But I'm not sure how long it would have taken me to get the hang of it, if I HADN'T watched the video first. So do yourself a favour. If you're looking for a large strip softbox, pick up one of these (highly recommended), and check out the video before you set it up the first time.
