Hey, I am extremely pleased with these ironhead pipes. The chrome is really, really nice. And the fact that come with full length heat shields is something I've never seen offered for ironhead engines. Even without the heat shields the price would be very reasonable so, it's like getting the heat shields for free. Compared to brands like Paughco @ $600.00 it's a super deal. The only fault I can find is the slots that are cut in the end that fits on the exhaust port of the head are a bit long. Then again, every drag pipes I've ever seen for these old sportsters are the same way. So to prevent exhaust leaks, the pipes may need to be trimmed an 1/8" or so. The real problem is the design of the exhaust port, they should have been made longer. That was a flaw on Harley's part. It's all but impossible to get a leak free connection on these old bikes.
