Kajal III

Very citrusy with lemon and grapefruit with warm and spicy notes. It's not bad but nothing great either. If I was telling myself what to sample, I would say try Kajal Homme and Faris instead for men and for ladies, try Kajal Lamar. Kajal III leans masculine with moderate sillage and longevity. The scent has also been compared to Sospiro Vibrato.

Kajal III, introduced in 2023 by perfumer Kevin Mathys, is a unisex fragrance that embodies resilience and sophistication. The scent opens with a vibrant blend of grapefruit, lemon zest, and an effervescent lemon soda accord, delivering a photorealistic citrus experience reminiscent of fresh grapefruit juice, rind, and pith.  The heart of the fragrance features a harmonious mix of rosemary, neroli, lavender, and a touch of spicy ginger, adding depth and complexity. As the scent evolves, it settles into a base of ambroxan, patchouli, amber, and musk, providing a warm and earthy foundation.  While the fragrance is well-crafted, some may find its astringent quality reminiscent of traditional masculine scents, particularly those similar to designer “masculine” fragrances. However, for enthusiasts of such profiles, especially those favoring grapefruit notes, Kajal III is worth exploring.  Overall, Kajal III offers a fresh and dynamic scent profile, making it a versatile addition to any fragrance collection.
