Summer Songbird

Wasn't expecting it to flower this soon!

I ordered this late in the season, arriving at the end of June, so my main goal was to keep it alive in our eastern North Carolina heat. I figured if I was lucky, I'd get some flowers next year. They are flourishing and one of the oxeye sunflowers already put out a tiny bloom, and it looks like it might give me another. What a treat!

Plants came very healthy and packaged in great containers. Planted the next day and they are doing great!
